How soon after Breast Implants can you go swimming? Also whats a good post Op Bra?

Author: admin  /  Category: breast implants

I’m getting breast implants in 2 weeks and I’ve been thinking about it for years. I’m 25 and think I’m old enough to make this decision (so those negative anti boob implant people - don’t bother answering).. So those who’ve had them - how long until you can go swimming? I’m getting the incision under the breast with silicon implants. Also, whats a good post op bra to wear.. Any other tips?? Thanks!!

Thats what I got back in October. I ordered a great bra, Breast Augmentation Sports Bra (W/Zippers) (Marena) from makemeheal.com. I had to wait about a 2 weeks to feel good exercising the upper body and had to wait a month before the doctor wanted me to use scar cream. The incisions will be irratated, so I would hold off on being in clorinated water for a while. The doctor will know better though.

I think it's a least 8 weeks before you can swim. Of course you are old enough to make the decision. But, since you are only 2 weeks from surgery, this is info your surgeon should have given you.
